Meeting of the members to the Antitrust Alliance

Associate Aurimas Pauliukevičius participated at the meeting of the members to the Antitrust Alliance, uniting specialized antitrust teams from 18 law firms in the European Union, held in Brussels (Belgium).
On the first day of the meeting, the participants discussed the activities of the Alliance members in the field of competition law. Mr. L. Peeperkorn from the European Commission, supervising the group of specialists drafting the amendments to Commission Regulation 2790/99 (block exemption on vertical agreements) made a presentation at the meeting.
The second day was devoted to practical training. The Antitrust Alliance members shared their experience in representing clients in cartel cases against the European Commission. Mr. Xavier Lewis from the Legal Service of the European Commission (Competition team) made his presentation to the participants of the training.
